What is MATA KARATE?
MATA Karate is an evolutionary system that continuously changes and grows. Each of the four programs (Little Dragons, Junior Tigers, Junior Leopards & the Adults) are derivative off of the Shaolin Kempo Animals. Each of the programs evolve naturally into the next program and not one curriculum is more important than the other. Each program is customized & uniquely based for our martial artist students to functionally operate their mind, body and spirit while understanding the true meaning of karate.
Although there are generalized age frames for each program, it is up to the instructor and the parent to make a decision on what is most appropriate for the student during their 20 minute private personal assessment or first free class. We understand at MATA karate that every individual is different and will do our best to work with all students and parents to yield the best results.
